Is Xunlai house dead permanently? - Guild Wars Forums

Anet brought down the "House" a few months ago, and it was kinda assumed that there would be some kind of quick patch/fix and the house would be back up. But now months later, its as if Anet decided they couldn't fix it or no longer wanted to fix it. While my reason for asking is purely greed, free z-keys every months

. There really has been no update, saying whether the whole Xunlai House project was scrapped. Being strictly PvE, I have no reason to look at or even care about the monthlies anymore.

They haven't said anything other than "They are are working on it". We can't interpret that to mean it will never get fixed though. They could just want it to be working properly before it is put back up again.

No one knows. Very odd that they enhanced it and wound up breaking it almost simultaneously.

it would be cool if they launch xth again when zkeys are like 4.3k. so the prices can go down slowly again. but it would be fun to get xth back again

it will be up it's just that they have so much of thier staff working on gw2 to get it done that theirs not many people avliable to work on gw1 problems that arnt very important they may not bring it back at all unless it links to gw2 because those guilds are going to be changed big time and is thier any point running the system with no one to participate in it? that raise some question that i am sure they have thought of do they take ppl for a few weeks to fix it so in a year or so it can die and be useless and willl possibly delay gw2 by a few more weeks or do the scrap it and get parts of the concept update done and work on gw2 remember limited staff avliable unless they hire more ppl but hte more they hire the more the game may cot goal is to keep cost down to allow for massive sales on the game

It's not dead, just in a coma. Anet is still in med school though, so we don't know how long it will take for the coma to be ended. Maybe they need money to pay off the med school loans before they can finish.

its not dead, the only thing they have said is we are working on it. there was a massive screw up and they have to figure out how to fix it and why some got points and some didnt. then they have to figure out how to do that fairly. XTH will be back i'm sure. while half of me hopes for greed the other half is wanting it to come back just cuz it was fun. it kept guildwars enjoyable, atleast the pvp side of it. i miss you XTH please come back LOL.

Actually, XTH is hosted and manages by a completely different company.

I hope they come back with other ways to get PvP rewards though. I hope XTH is dead for zkeys however lol... or makes them untradable.

asking the magic eight ball will get you just as good of an answer than we can give you here on the forum...we are not anet, we dont know why its taking so long to fix, we dont know IF they plan on fixing it or just letting it slide (like other issues)....we have no answers other than what you have read in the threads.....
everything else is just speculation.

It WOULD be nice if they could tell us if there is a date that they HOPE to be back up and running by----or if they dont plan on bringing it back at all.
Much of what anet does is very confusing to the average person (motives et. al. )....they have some reason for not telling us, and not getting it back yet.

who knows, not us.

It's going to be pretty hard to get the Z title without XTH.

Btw Regina have'nt written anything about it in a month now !

Even though it should be easier to obtain Z keys. Maybe change the amount it costs "1-5 silver coins" , "2k Baltz"...

We need the price to go down for Zkeys and that's because a title that cost 80 mil is way to much. Getting 20K Zkeys will take such a long time when your not a pro HA guy playing 24/7.
